Itenerary:
Day 1: Departure
Depart USA for Rome
Day 2: Rome
Arrive at Rome airport & transfer to your city center hotel by motor-coach.
Check-in and time at leisure. Welcome dinner at local restaurant. (D)
Day 3: Rome
Morning guided tour of the Ancient Rome, with reserved admissions to the Colosseum and Forum. This afternoon enjoy the tour of Baroque Rome (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, etc.) ending the tour at Piazza Navona with dinner at local restaurant. A Mass will be celebrated today. (B, D)
Day 4: Rome
Morning Papal blessing and afternoon at leisure (B)
Day 6: Rome
This morning we will have a guided visit to Vatican Museums including the special opening of the Niccoline Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica.
Basilicas afternoon tour St. Paul Outside the Walls, St. John Lateran & St. Mary Major. We will celebrate Mass at St. Mary Major. (B, D)
Day 7: Rome, Florence
Full day excursion to Florence by high speed train.
A half day guided city tour of Florence with reserved admission to Michelangelo’s David at Academia included (B)
Day 8: Rome
Morning participation in Papal Audience (tickets provided)
After lunch at leisure depart for Tivoli Gardens for a guided tour and dinner. (B, D)
Day 9: Rome
This morning celebrate a private mass at St Peter’s.
Morning guided tour to the Catacombs and visit to the Basilica of Saint Lawrence Outside the Walls.Rest of the afternoon at leisure before farewell dinner at local restaurant (B, D)
Day 10:
